William Jackson Sparkes Residence in London.

William Jackson Sparks was described as a widower of full age when he married Mary Ann Bowers on 24th October, 1838.  They were married in the parish of St Leonards, Shoreditch in the county of London and in the borough of Hackney. (England and Wales Marriage Index 1837 – 1983)
His occupation is noted as ropemaker. 
William Jackson Sparks' father is named as William Sparks and his occupation is stated as mariner.      
Mary Ann is incorrectly named as Ann Bowers.  She is described as a spinster.  It also states that she was of full age.    Her father is named as William Bowers, a stonemason, and that he was deceased.
Their address at the time of their marriage is given as Huntingdon Street, Stepney, London.
