A record of birth has uncovered the birth of an Amelia L. Spearkes.
Her father is recorded as William J Spearkes and her mother as Mary A.
She was born in Sydney in 1840.
As no records have been found of Amelia Louisa Sparkes' birth date, it is my belief that a spelling error has her incorrectly entered as Spearkes and not Sparkes.
