Hi Gary B, i believe the people in this picture is of my great grandfather Alonzo Sparkes, Amelia Sparkes, and their mother. The man and other children are Mr Rosetta and his children who married Alonzo's mother. I would be very interested in seeing the photos you have found.

DeleteMy name is Mary Blond(nee Sparkes). I am descended from Alonzo Sparkes (snr) through his son Sydney Sparkes. My father was Neville Sparkes.
Having said that can I apologize for the late reply to your email. We have been away in our camper in Western Australia and surrounds for 4 months and emails have been put on the back burner.
It was great to receive your email. However, I have doubts that the man in the photo is Alonzo Sparkes (snr). Also his sister Amelia was about 8 years older than him.
I was wondering if the photo was of Alonzo Sparkes (jnr) his wife and family?
I know that Alonzo Sparkes' mother, Mary Ann remarried Henry Rosetta.
